In
the English 20 short story unit, students are asked to create moulds of
their faces from plaster of paris. From that point, they then create
a mask using various materials of their choice. The materials they
choose are to be significant to the student thus allowing the masks to be
an expression of themselves. The masks then become catalysts for
students to write creative legends.
