Students come to school with a wide range of talents, understandings and commitments, where they work with teachers and staff to grow, develop and fulfill their potential.

Our school division places an emphasis on all aspects of student development – including their character and their relationships with others in addition to their academic skills.

When you explore the pages of this website you will find countless demonstrations of student success – academically, in extra curricular programs and within the community.  You will also learn more about the diverse programs and approaches our teachers and administrators have created which enable them to provide the instruction, support and encouragement required to meet the unique needs of each student. In addition to academic programs and exceptional special education services, BRSD schools offer fine arts, career and technology studies and physical education. We also offer a variety of methods for delivering services to students, including outreach schools, an online school and a program tailored for young, single mothers.

The important work of schools is supported by the Board of Trustees, as well as by Transportation, Operations and Maintenance, Technology and Central Office staff. Each group is equally committed and critical to fulfilling our vision and mission.
