SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY
Chester Ronning School is dedicated to serving our students in the spirit of Dr. Chester Ronning. We accept all who come here to learn. We pursue academic excellence, and strive for that same excellence in all areas of student achievement. We teach our students to care for others and for community.

At Chester Ronning Elementary School our goal is to provide a safe and caring community where all students are accepted and encouraged to strive for success and to meet their full potential as respectful citizens.

At Chester Ronning Elementary we work to build a supportive and positive rapport among students, staff and the community by creating a sense of belonging, pride, and school spirit.
SCHOOL COMMUNITY PROFILE
Chester Ronning School serves most of the southwest section of the City of Camrose. Its attendance area includes Duggan Park and areas north to the highway, east to Mirror Lake, south to Marler Drive.
PROGRAMS AND ORGANIZATION
The school provides a full educational program for E.C.S. to Grade 6. There is a robust Music program including choirs for all grades, instrumental music, and Band in Grade 6. Students in Grades 4, 5 and 6 receive French as a Second Language Instruction. The school has a well-earned reputation for its success in meeting special needs. The Circle of Courage guides staff and students in developing a sense of community in which all are valued. In addition the school houses the Learning Together Program.
