Background

Periodically, the Director of Transportation or designate may accompany a bus driver over his/her entire route in accordance with the following procedures.

Procedures

1.      Where there are questions related to driver performance, the Director of Transportation or designate shall accompany the school bus driver over his/her entire route.

2.      The Director of Transportation shall keep a written log of each occasion when he/she accompanied a driver and shall, relative to each driver/trip, make written comments with respect to the driver’s performance/passengers’ deportment/ route conditions/etc. and review them with the driver.
