School Property
When property of the school is destroyed, damaged, lost, or converted by intention or
neglect of a student, the student and his parents are jointly liable to the Board for that
property
Parking Property
Students are permitted to drive a vehicle to school provided that they park in
designated lots. Students desiring to drive to school must register their vehicle at the
office and familiarize themselves with the parking regulations. There is no charge for the
registration or for the parking.
Student Illness
Students who become ill during the school day are asked to inform a teacher or
caseworker. If a parent can be contacted, the student may be picked up at the school or,
at the discretion of the parent, may go home.
Drugs / Alcohol
Drugs or alcohol are not to be found in or on students while they are at school or on
school trips. Students disregarding this policy are subject to suspension and / or
expulsion from school.
Smoking
PACE Outreach School and the Camrose Boys and Girls
Club facilities are smoke free
environments. Students are not to smoke within any building or on school property outside
of the designated smoking area.
Dress Code
Students are allowed to dress in the manner that they choose. However, students are not
permitted to wear clothing which may have offensive logos or printing on them.
Telephone
Students needing to use the phone may use the phone located in the entrance to the
Community Centre.
Emergency School Closure
Local broadcasting media will carry announcements of school closures.
