Bashaw School consists of 255 students in kindergarten to Grade 12. Cutting-edge thinking is at the heart of class scheduling, which enables us to offer a wide range of learning strands suited to individual student’s needs. We consistently yield extremely high ratings in the area of “Safe and Caring” and have been the #1 school for meeting the needs of students based on BRSD #31 survey results. Bashaw School has seen up to 30% of the student population achieve the level of excellence on provincial testing and consistently maintains scores above the remainder of the province. Very high academic standards; flexible programming (which includes trades experiences to ensure a 100% graduation rate); a caring atmosphere that provides support to the student and their entire family; a wide range of very competitive athletics; and a high-calibre music program are renowned elements to our “Small School with Big Hearts and Minds.”
Bashaw School is renowned for its safe and caring atmosphere with activities such a Random Acts of Kindness Week, birthday and report card celebrations. Bashaw School is also piloting a unique Family Wellness Program that links counselling services with the school and the family. Students are cared for and the highest academic standards are expected.
