Battle River School Division invites applications for the following position: Substitute Teachers – ALL SCHOOLS
Battle River School Division serves the educational needs of 6300 students with approximately 315 full time teachers, 80 part time teachers and 480 support staff to support the following suite of educational programs:
- 21 Traditional Schools,
- Dual Track French Immersion Schools,
- 10 Colony Schools,
- An Online School,
- Three Outreach Schools, and
- A Summer School
Qualifications:
- Alberta Teacher Certificate
- Organize, support and assess student programs
- Well developed interpersonal relationship skills
- Confidential and acts with integrity
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi task and seamlessly adapt programs to student needs
- Comfort with communicating with parents, BRSD administrators and community agencies as needed
- Quick to develop relationships with parents and students is essential
- Adapting to new and emerging educational technologies is an asset
