Media Release: BRSD Board of Trustees Approves 2025-2028 Education Plan

Battle River School Division (BRSD) is pleased to announce that the Board of Trustees has approved the 2025-28 Education Plan.
This comprehensive plan—developed around input received from almost 3,500 stakeholders—outlines three core priorities: Learning Success for All, Enhance High Quality Learning and Working Environments, and Well-Being.
Assistant Superintendent - Education Services, Stephen Hoyland reinforces that feedback received from students, families and staff has been critical in building this plan.
“Based on stakeholder feedback from the previous year, BRSD reshaped its priorities for 2024-25,” says Hoyland. “Now, with even more stakeholder feedback from our recent survey, we are approaching the 2025-26 school year with an even stronger plan.
“Our 2025-28 Education Plan connects BRSD schools and communities to the essential work being done throughout the division. It provides a model that each entity of our work aligns with and connects back to.”
BRSD is grateful to its school community for invaluable insight, support and survey participation from families, students and staff. This collaboration directly supports the work of BRSD and continual quality improvement of its educational plan.
